The ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Development Program (IMDP) is a full-time opportunity for entry level maintenance positions made available to trade school graduates certified in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical, and other approved Industrial Maintenance programs.

Western PA/Eastern OH Region which includes rotations at the following sites:

Hubbard, OH: Aluminum and Iron Casting at ELLWOOD Aluminum and ELLWOOD Engineered Castings
Hermitage, PA: Crankshaft Manufacturing at ELLWOOD Crankshaft and Machine and ELLWOOD National Crankshaft Services
Sharon, PA: Crankshaft Manufacturing at ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group Sharon Forge
The ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Scholarship is a program offered each year to students who are considering attending a trade school, college or university, and pursuing a certificate or degree in Mechatronics, or an equivalent industrial maintenance program.
Graduating seniors and/or those who have completed the GED test, are encouraged to apply for an opportunity to be awarded one of our $10,000 scholarships to be used toward tuition to an approved trade school, college or university.
Examples of approved trade schools include Laurel Technical Institute in Hermitage, PA; New Castle School of Trades (NCST) in New Castle, PA; Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA; Erie Institute of Technology in Erie, PA; Lone Star College in Houston, TX; and MIAT College of Technology in Houston and in Canton, MI. Other trade schools may be approved after written application and formal review by ELLWOOD.

Upon completing the application found below, students can expect a follow-up email requesting more information to complete the process.
Applicants are required to submit all requested documentation and complete an application by Monday, April 7, 2025. The ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Scholarship is open to all U.S. Citizens or students with a valid green card.
After graduation from an approved/accredited school program, the student/scholarship winner will have the opportunity to gain full employment with ELLWOOD in our Industrial Maintenance Development Program (see above).
