Effective February 2, 2015, Bentraum (Ben) Huffman was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EGI to replace the retiring Kevin J. Handerhan.

Ben joined ELLWOOD National Forge (ENF) in April 2003 as Controller, was promoted in 2005 to Director of Finance, ELLWOOD City Forge (ECF), promoted to EGI as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer in 2007, and since 2009 has held the position of EGI Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His rapid rise over his twelve years within EGI is a testament to his deep knowledge of EGI’s products and customers and broad financial expertise. Ben was appointed to the EGI Board of Directors in June 2011.

Prior to joining EGI, Ben worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young for ten years. He received his BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University. Ben, his wife, Briana, and two daughters reside in Neshannock Township, PA.
