ELLWOOD National Forge - Corry produces open-die forged components for some of the most demanding applications in the world utilizing ELLWOOD’s industry-leading high quality, clean steel in forging our specialty discs, rings, sleeves and shafts on our 2,000-ton open-die forging press.
ELLWOOD National Forge heat-treating facilities are capable of thermal stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering. We offer both vertical and horizontal heat treatment, with 13 vertical heat treat furnaces capable of heat treating parts up to 35’ in length and 76” diameter.
ELLWOOD National Forge is a global leader in close tolerance deep-hole boring. Boring the equivalent of 2.5 miles weekly, we have a tremendous amount of experience in Thru-Boring, Bottle Boring, Blind End Boring, Taper Boring, and Honing. ELLWOOD National Forge is capable of boring products in excess of 70’ in length.
ELLWOOD National Forge can turn products up to 120” in diameter and in excess of 75’ in length. Our wide array of machine tools includes multi-axis CNC work centers consisting of lathes, boring machines, mills, hones, saws and support equipment.
