Since 1992, we have focused exclusively on producing high quality, seamless rolled rings. Our Erie, Pennsylvania facility is the industry standard for productivity, cost control, and speed. By combining the latest in ring rolling technology with our unique “can-do” team culture and a laser focus on our rolled ring product, we achieve high customer satisfaction. Our customers trust that an order at McInnes Rolled Rings will be delivered in the shortest lead times available in the industry, and with the highest reliability.
In our 144,470 square-foot facility we operate two Wagner radial axial ring rolling mills (63/63 and 160/160), a smaller Wagner KFR 630 ring mill, 1,200- and 3,500-ton hydraulic preform presses, and full heat treatment capabilities including annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering.
Our seamless ring rolling process produces a forged steel ring to tight and accurate tolerances which permits minimum material allowance and very little waste. Seamless rolled rings offer superior integrity for demanding engineering applications, and provide a cost effective alternative to fabricating rings from steel plate (ASTM A36 or ASTM A516 Grade 70). We also offer forged discs. Using computer-controlled equipment for consistent size and finish, we produce discs up to 5,000lbs in weight, 60″ in outside diameter and 10″ in maximum height.
Final applications of our carbon, alloy, and stainless steel rings and discs include power generation and transmission, valve and flange, general machine shop and fabrication, industrial machinery, bearings, aerospace, and oil field equipment.
Our ISO-9001 and AS9100 compliant quality management system, range of industry approvals and bureau certifications, and process of continual improvement enable us to dependably meet the needs of our customers.
