Effective January 1, 2017, Dan Rhoads will retire from ELLWOOD Engineered Castings (EEC), Hubbard, Ohio. On November 1, 2016, Dan will step into an EGI Executive Vice President role, reporting to the COO, until his retirement in January.

Dan joined EEC as President in March 2008 and during his 8 ½ year tenure was responsible for significant improvements at EEC. Prior to joining ELLWOOD, Dan managed operations at Kaiser Aluminum, Steere Enterprises, and Grede Foundry, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas.He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

Dan will be remembered for his passion and sincerity, always working in the best interests of the company, customers, and EEC employees. We will miss his enthusiasm for the game of golf and his hearty laugh.
