The company assets of PTD were acquired by ELLWOOD Crankshaft and Machine. The ECM-Oil City location will operate as a cost center of ECM and will no longer use the name PTD in the marketplace. This acquisition will allow ECG to expand its remanufacturing and manufacturing product lines while significantly strengthening its position in the global engine, pump, press and compressor markets by offering complimentary products in the form of connecting rods and machining of fluid ends to our existing customers.
Eduardo Sande, who recently returned from integrating and running the ECC plant located in Joliet, Illinois, will serve as the Plant Manager until we have fully integrated the location into ECG. Additionally, the former owner, Bill Kluck Sr., will continue as the Operations Manager.
This new location machines and remanufactures products such as con rods, blocks, chocks, fluid ends, general machining of various fabrications. Your ECG account managers will be the point of contact for the products previously provided through PTD.
