ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group (ECG) recently announced the commissioning of its latest, state-of-the-art crankshaft manufacturing and remanufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, TX.
The new operation, built to support growing demand from its Oil & Gas customers, represents the latest chapter in ECGs continued expansion. Investing in the southwest region allows ECG to continue to support increasingly complex demands on customer supply chains, offering flexible commercial offerings and reduced lead times. “We must constantly strive to exceed the needs of our customers and regional manufacturing is one of the best ways for ECG to continue elevating its remarkable reliability and services to our customers” said Brian Taylor, President.
The latest investment stands as continued evidence of ECGs company-wide commitment to deliver customer-focused strategic solutions to meet evolving supply chain demands. The Grand Prairie facility expands ECGs existing remanufacturing footprint which includes locations near Pittsburgh, PA and Chicago, IL.
The new 40,000 square foot facility will boast a complete suite of state-of-the-art machining and dimensional restoration technology. According to Tyler Kissick, General Manager of the remanufacturing division, “ECG’s broad experience and technical capability on repairs, coupled with our unique ability to manage the entire customer supply chain, allows us to seamlessly meet all of our customers’ crankshaft needs”.
