Effective July 1, 2016, Mike Barrett was promoted as President of ELLWOOD National Forge (ENF) in Irvine, PA. Before moving to ENF as Executive Vice President on September 9, 2015, Mike served for twelve years at the ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group (ECG) in various roles including ECG Vice President of Operations, ELLWOOD National Crankshaft General Manager, Director of Quality, Director of Sales & Marketing, and as Controller. He served as Controller for ELLWOOD Texas Forge Houston from 1996-2003, and began his 22-year career with ELLWOOD in 1994 as Assistant Controller of ELLWOOD City Forge, ELLWOOD City, PA. Prior to that, Mike worked for Cooper Power Systems, Rockwell International, and Ernst & Young.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College, Greenville, PA. Mike is actively involved in his community including leadership roles in the Boys Scouts of America, Family Services, and the Warren Rotary Club. He and his wife, Melanie, reside in Warren, PA and are the parents of two daughters.

Mike replaces Glenn Fegely, who has retired after 27 years of service–13 years as President of ENF and 14 years in various roles at ELLWOOD City Forge, ELLWOOD City, PA. The EGI Board of Directors thanks Glenn for his strong leadership of ENF, including his leadership of the transition of the company from National Forge Company ownership to ELLWOOD National Forge in 2003.
