After 32 years of service, Dr. Kevin J. Handerhan, Chief Operating Officer (COO), indicated his desire to retire from EGI and take some time to relax and pursue other personal interests effective February 20, 2015.

In 1982, Kevin began his career as Superintendent of Quality Control at ELLWOOD City Forge (ECF) and became President of the Forging Division of ECF in 1989. In 1998, he was appointed to the EGI Board of Directors. He was promoted to EGI President of Open Die & International Operations in 2000, and to COO in 2007. Kevin holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science for Carnegie Mellon University.

We shall miss his enthusiasm, technological savvy, hard work, and quick wit.
